I would just like to clear up any misconceptions some people may have
reached based on my comments concerning Strange Dawn.

I DID NOT stereotype all anime as kids shows. I was referring SOLEY to
Strange Dawn. To assume that I was lumping all anime into the "kids show"
is extremely off the wall.

If one looks at the cover art you see two teenage girls surrounded by a
group of small people, I would say estimate less then two feet high, of
which at least one as a costume that reminds me of a teletubbie outfit. If
a person were to purchase this disc based on the cover art expecting
something that they could show their small childern they would be in for a
very rude surprise. Death, the lose of a parent, attempted rape, all these
things take place on this disc. None of which can be construed from the
cover art.

Hence my comment - "I don't consider it a kids show, based on what happens
on the first disc."

I DO find the use of British voice actors to be strange, they do not "feel"
right. The same can probably be said for someone in Britian watching an
anime show that has been dubbed for release in the States. While we both
speak "English" our accents and slang words vary. "Knickers" and "Loo" are
not used a great deal in the US.

However in places the subtitles flash across so quickly I did not have time
to read the words without hitting the pause button so I suffered through the
BVA's.

I hope that this clears up any misconceptions anyone might have reached or
read into my comments concerning Strange Dawn.
