The Independent Film Channel will be running this weeks' Zatoichi movie
tomorrow ( Saturday ) morning.........this installment:   'The Blind
Swordsman's Revenge.'

Zatoichi isn't really a samurai.........he's a blind 19th-century yakuza
masseur who learned how to use a sword to keep from being bullied.
Trouble is, he turned out to be such a prodigy that people keep trying
to kill him........big improvement. So he wanders up and down Japan,
gambling, drinking, falling in hopeless love, righting wrongs and
providing occasional slapstick humor..........imagine Chaplin's Little
Tramp crossed with Yojimbo. It's good stuff!

My tv schedule says 5 & 11 AM, but I don't know if that's West Coast or
East Coast feed, so check your local listings........
