finally got the Akira tins in at the shop today, a week late. bleh.

let me say that I had forgoten how much I enjoy this movie.
i know there are people who dislike it, and I absolutely agree that in
comparison to the manga it is sub-par (aren't most things?), but damn,
this movie's a trip.

makes me regret missing it in the theaters.
oh well, i'm sure i wouldn't have liked the new dub, anyway.
i've got a soft spot in my heart for the Streamline dub...
