so we can see where all that cel money is going to....
I still need a digital camera myself, but just can't decide how much
to spend.  The camera bug is real viscous too, my father was the
same way with single lens reflex camera's.  He supported the habit
by constructing custom microscopes with 3 or more eye pieces all
converging through one prism.  

No it wasn't for any Sanjiyan that happened to be in the market for
exotic eye gear.  The intent was for stereo viewing with simultaneous
access for a camera of some sort to take pictures of what exactly
the viewer was looking at.  These all had internal light sources and
precision stages, he sold a lot of them to metallurgical labs where
they needed photo micro graphs for analysis and as exhibits.
