Sorry about the screwed up response. Had someone start to talk to me just as
I pulled up the reply screen, and hit the send button.

grr...
Anyway, just to toss my two cents in (since I was one of the principles in
the little discussion), there's been little enough Tenchi discussion of late,
I was looking for something to write a little bit about, and this issue just
happened to present itself. Greg isn't hypersensitive about most of the
stuff posted here by regulars, so I can go back and forth with him, and it
gave me something to sink my teeth into.

Finally, and I think most importantly, there was a little tongue-out smiley
'=P' at the end of it all that appears to have failed to make it into the
replies.

In short, don't take my little paragraph summary of the continuity conflict
as all that serious of a thing. Next time the issue comes up, I may very
well just mention Kiyone, I may use the bit I wrote for Greg, or I may go
into a detailed analysis of each and every problem with fitting MnE into the
OVA continuity (and thereby spark another argument of massive proportions, if
I'm particularly (un)lucky).

Although come to think of it, it would be nice if there were a website that
were easily accessible, and has a list of the continuity differences between
all of the different stories. Then the next time this question came up, we
could just direct the person there. It could be stimulus-response, kinda
like the auto-unsubscribe when asked that certain list members engage in
('Unsubscribe me!' 'Okay, I took you off the list.').

And Tenchi might marry Sakuya, but that's a topic for another time.
