  actually i have an idea for  a nightmare ..

  the new Tenchi series.

   Episode 1
   Tenchi discovers a goddess imprisoned in a cave and releases her, its
  Mihoshi!
  no wonder she was locked up.

  Episode 2
  Kiyone comes to earth  after being alerted that the seal on the cave
  has been broken, and tried to recapture the
  ( shes not evil just) misunderstood  goddess.

  Episode 3
   The Universe is destroyed by Mihoshi accidentally of course, end of
  series....


   episodes 4 - 400  and a dozen movies
  these all take place  between episodes 2 and 3
  in which we find out
  Ryouko is a billionaire's daughter, Aeka is the tough street punk ( 
who we
  later find out is Royouko's disowened sister...)
