Tonight I watched the 51st NHK Red and White Singing Contest on TV
Japan. It was a close contest! Red won! 
One of the things I liked was the special appearance of Tetsuwan Atomu.
And the special by Pink Lady! I remember they were tops in the late
'70's, when I was in Japan.
I also consumed an entire bottle of good sake (Hakusan brand, brewed in
the Napa valley).
I have also been sending New Year's greetings to all of my friends. 
One thing I noticed is that AIC has an ACTUAL ENGLISH PAGE. (Did Bill
MacPhee come back?)
