        Ryo-oh-ki asked why .bmp?  First because I am working in windows;
anyway I wanted to send it in an editable, no loss, 24 bit color format, and
.bmp makes it easy for the unwashed masses of wintel users. (so eunuchs and
Mac people think I'm a philistine: it is hard to do build it yourself with
Mac parts) And, yes, despite the lack of gaudy colors, that picture has
very fine tonality and detail, that is one of it's strengths.
Several people asked about the other picture; well, it's a two page
spread, pretty big, a lot of work, needs stitching, etc.; maybe next year. b-|
About one of the attendants being Nagi instead of Minagi (that would
make it TV-Tenchi-verse). Sorry I lost your letter, but I havn't seen the
TV episodes. You say they are easy to tell apart? Tall, skinny, resemble
Ryoko, with blue hair(but not sharp spiky), with Juraian war-paint; and we
don't see a lot of detail or color about Minagi. So, till I can watch the TV
episodes, clue me in, how do you tell Minagi from Nagi? Reliably? BTW: how
the heck does a bounty hunter after Ryoko end up being an attendant at her
wedding to the undocumented royal heir?
Kudos to Magus for getting in there and fixing the background
contrast, really nicely done, and quickly. May I ask, what software did you
use?
Finally, I did this out of love for the story and appreciation of
y'all, even the ones who give me an occasional bicker. In the following way
I don't know what I'm doing: Lets see, I get up, go to work all night in a
mainframe DP shop, come home, snap on the PC and spend an hour or so online
or fiddling with balky hardware, take care of home and living business, eat,
sleep. Wah...when do I get to watch anime? I really don't mind, but I was
amazed how long it took to distribute just one picture to a handful of
people, (it takes my ISP over 5 minutes to upload each letter, on a 28.8
connection, dare I ask why?), and almost no-one, myself included, puts their
address at the bottom of their postings.
