    Saving often is a good thing.  Every 5-10 minutes is okay.  Also, if
    you should do save with a different filename at each step of editing
    (e.g. image.jpg -> image1.jpg -> image2.jpg -> image3.jpg -> ...).
    Finally, always save in the program's native file format to maintain
    the highest quality.  When you are ready to export it to JPEG or GIF
    or something lossy, save from your master image.
