I was wondering, it has been said that episode 13 "When the King Comes, So Will Their

Happiness" was originally planned to be episode 8 instead of thirteen. Is this stated
in
an official source or is this just fan conjecture? I suppose you could make the argument

that we never saw resolution to Ryoko's meld with Zero, and that ep 13 actually fits

better at the begining of the second OVA (as well, it would make sense that ep 13.5
would
be on the tail end of ep 12) but nevertheless, it seems very odd that if episode 13
was
truly supposed to be the eighth ep, it would have fallen into some type of
post-production problems and moved to the end of the series. 
Can anyone identify a continuity error that would make it seem unlikely for ep 13
to have
originally been written as ep 8? How bout anything in episode thirteen that solidifies

itself as having occured after the Clay incident?
