>haha TMIL2 tied with Tekken and voltage fighter for worst story! thats
>great lmao!
Yes I did have a good laugh over that :) . How appropriate.
>Doesn't Ryo-ohki always win most fave non humanoid character in
>like every contest?
Yep. She always wins those awards. Thank god too. I'd hate to see it go to
the big yellow rat.
> anyway this was a neat little page, i dont see how
>TMIL2 got into best picture and worst story ..... doesn't make much sense,
>shoulda just stayed in worst story =P
Indeed. I think people got confused with "best picture." It was supposed to
refer to best movie I believe and best video to video quality. So Lain
should not have won best picture since it's not a movie :) . TF I thought
was going to win that category by default since it's only competition was
Tekken, Sonic, and a few hentais. Incidently, the audio and the video
awards I was in strong disagreement with. It's an absolute joke for Macross
Plus to be runner up on audio considering the disc didn't have a 5.1 track
like it was supposed to and just a 4.1 soundtrack. And A-Ko deserves worst
video, not worst movie! The dvd itself blew, but the movie is still great.
Anyhow, just a few minor quibbles, and the fault lies mostly with the guys
who ran the thing more then the voters.
>Lain really cleaned up, i think i'll go rewatch it now ;P
Yeah, Lain and Tenchi UE pretty much swept up those awards :) . I'm most
happy over Ai winning the Mel Blanc award personally. Well... that and the
proper bashing of TF :) .
