Heh... I would think that this would actually be less expensive
than purchasing the actual Japanese originals, when all is said
and done ^_^. And of course, you get the Japanese track as well.

> Tenchi >Kermit! Kermit Frog!! Why Kermit!?

Most people dislike this one. He _does_ sound a little like
Kermit the Frog :^P.

> Ryouko >Old lady. Really She acts Zero's voice?

Most of the time, yes, she sounds pretty old. Sometimes, however,
I am shocked at how similar she sounds to the original. It became
obvious that after the first few episodes, the English TM VAs were
being forced to review the original Japanese dialogue before
performing their version of it.

> Aeka >Younger than the original's voice. but good.

Yes... Once one gets used to the accent (which more or less died
off anyways, after the first episodes), this one is easy to like.
Anyone who switches between the two audio tracks a lot cannot
deny that the two voices are quite similar, most of the time.

This was one of Pioneer's earliest dubbing efforts. The first
few episodes represent, overall, some very poor choices for
voice-actors. However, they have instigated about as much
quality-control as they can, with the VAs they accidentally
chose early on... and anyways, starting with episode 4, almost
every voice chosen has been good to excellent. Episode 11
represents what I consider to be the first truly good Tenchi
Muyou dub (for one thing, all the vocal effects are finally
in place, AND identical to the originals.. Just check).

> Sasami >Good! BTW, Tsunami's and Sasami's voice are the same ?

I like this one also. It's really just good luck; this voice was
chosen early (ep 2), so it could have easily wound up being as
bad as Ryouko or Tenchi. And yes, it's the same voice for
both ^_^.

> Mihoshi >Just like the original's voice. but the original is more bubble head.

This is for certain. This voice is really not too bad, but the
voice-actor doesn't seem particularly capable of handling the
humor of her character.

> Wasyuu >I want more comical.

Heh... One of the few mediocre voice-actor choices, late in the
series. Sounds almost nothing like the original. However, I
find her humorous in her own way... and she does a great job
emulating Washuu in one of her maniacal fits ^_^;;

> Ryo-oh-ki>"mew,mew" as expected.

This is interesting... The Ryououki voice they got for the
Pretty Sammy OAV is not the same as the old one... and this
new one is _PERFECT_. And it even does the myaa-myaa bit
just about perfectly :) (only once, right at the end...)

> aunt >Too old. Her voice sounds older than the inn keeper.

Yes.. not a good choice. It is fortunate that she is not a
consistent character :^\

> keeper >not bad.

She was better in episode 4... sigh.

> others >Too smart (except Kamidake ^_^)

Too smart? Tenchi's dad sounds, if anything, too stupid. He
did a much better job in episode 4... sigh.

Kamidake had a great voice, in episodes 2 thru 6. Then they
changed it to something dorky -_-. ACK! :^P

> Songs >Good. Why the CD of dubbed songs is not released?

I agree... The dubbed songs are pretty good (I sorta didn't like
the dub of the ED from the first series, tho). As to why
they're not released... Probably the same reason Pioneer likes
to delay their LDs constantly.  ;_;

> And now, rests of the LDs are 8....

I recommend picking up the 10/11 LD; episode 11 is, by far, the
best TM dub. Actually, the new Pretty Sammy OAV is a great dub
also ^_^;;;;; (Is it just me, or does Sasami actually LOOK like
a 10-year-old now? Shame shame ^_^;;;)
