the tapes are just meant to parody magical anime and to be funny.

check out the TV series though.  They are more enjoyable, I think they are
funnier and put Samy in more compromising situations, though the sereis
seem to be kind of long out.  I've nly seen up to 8 though.

I sure like PS TV better than either Tenchi TV's.  Tenchi TV was just so
slapstick!  Tenchi TV2 is well, they attempted the humor but I don't think
it tuoches the 12-30 male audience.

IMHO, PS TV is funnny for what it does, make fun of magical anime and is
not slapstick.  Ridculous sitations do occur, but it's make fun of what 
would occure in a typical magical girl anime, the bizzare happens.  

I love the ep#2 where Kenji sees pretty Samy in the school yard and
starts chasing after her and asks her if she's COSplaying.  Samy then
becomes very embarassed.
