Tenchi loves all of the girls without question, but he has different feelings for

them all in the maturity of his love. Although it was best summed up in Pretty
Samy OAV1, when it was said that he doesn't know what true love is. Here is my
stab at this subject and I hope it helps to spark some insight into how I feel
about "Tenchi: The Blind Man of Masaki". Here is a brief write of each girl and
how Tenchi feels for them. This is a mish-mash of Tenchi-unverse feelings, so
please bear with me.

1. Aeka: He likes her more than friends, but is intimidated by her. He has a great

respect for her because of her nobility and independence. Although he will not
choose her because I feel he wants to stay on earth to live. He may visit other
places, but earth is home.

2. Ryoko: He is peaked by her lack of inhibitions, but at the same time is afraid

of her lack of traditional upbringing. He may seem at times to not want her
around, but their is a familiarity about her that keeps him interested. My guess
is he felt close to her because of her small amount of power emanating from the
cave. He will not choose Ryoko because he feels too familiar with her and would
not be able to have a successful relationship. I call this the "Friend
Relationship" because they know each other too well, to be good lovers. She may
act up all the time, but he can read her like book.

3. Mihoshi: Tenchi is turned off by her air-headedness, but at the same time he is

man and she is gorgeous. He has become almost a Kiyone-type character with Mihoshi

and would feel that she would be a high-maintenance prospect. We tend to be turned

off by things that are not easy to relate too or keep control of.

4. Sasami: He admires her ability to show such maturity at a tender age, but would

never even think of her beyond anything more than a little sister. She is the
representation of Achika to me in Tenchi's life. She really takes care of him and

makes everything a little better. When she grows up, I think we could see a
potential relationship. The problem is that Tenchi and her would have to deal with

Ryoko and Aeka and I doubt that would ever happen. They love the girls too much to

hurt them.

5. Kiyone: He likes Kiyone's drive and overall good looks and demeanor. He also
knows that if he goes with her that he will in all regards be with Mihoshi as
well, this more of a burden than he is willing to take. Her single-minded lust for

a career would lead him to many lonely nights at home with fear that she would die

on duty, so I think he would back down from her.

6. Washu: If Washu were to stop being so child-like and different, the Tenchi
would probably talk to her more seriously. As it stands he feels she is his little

sister and mother at times. Her intellect also intimidates him much like Aeka's
stature is so dominant in his mind. He will never choose Washu because she will
never choose him, he only wants to study him and nothing more. The whole lily
scene was for laughs, not for her interest in him.

7. Achika: It's his mom. He never really got to know her, so he would like to
spend some time with her. Nothing more, get over it.

8. Tsunami: Her exotic nature intrigues him. He has no chance with her and
therefore that case is shut.

9. Zero Ryoko: She is no more.

10. Sakuya: Not enough information. I have seen the first 10 eps. and it looks
good to me so far, that may change with Yuugi' s
help. I like her, but I am probably alone on that. Tenchi likes her because she is

natural and fun to be with. Her desire to be with him also probably feeds his ego

a little and we all like our egos stroked a little.

11. Mayuka-chan: Feelings of her being his daughter kill any possibility of a
relationship. She loves him because that was programmed into her.

12. Ryo-ohki: She is a "CABBIT". Even if she did merge in the OAV's and become
feminine, she is still a "CABBIT". Stop trying to create more hentai in Tenchi.

13. Haruna?: No information, but I doubt any real closure was established. He left

her and went back home. My guess.

14.Every other girl in the Tenchiverse: No chance, so you should all go home.

15. Nanami-chan(El Hazard): In a fit of marketing genius the 2 universes collide
and  Tenchi falls in love with Nanami-chan. The fans are outraged and Pioneer is
rich . the END!

16. Tenchi's Girlfriend/Wife: A character we haven't seen yet. the one to win his

heart will appear in OAV 3. She will be controlled by the "Bad Guy" and in the end

everybody dies except him, her, and Ryo-ohki and the "New Beginning" starts.
