This was really good information.  I have been dying to hear some actual news
about the next movie and the possibility of a new OVA series...

Does anyone here know anyone in Japan who has seen the new movie (TMiL2)?  I
am still confused about the continuity of the movie (yes, I am one of those
fans that actually cares about continuity).  I hope it is OVA or Tenchi
Universe timeline, but please don't tell me it is a new timeline!

I have heard that Tenchi is losing poularity in Japan, so the likelyhood of
more series coming out is becoming smaller and smaller.  Instead of making
more and more timelines, they need to concentrate on what they have already
created, and bring each story to a close.  Tenchi Universe already has a
perfect ending, so I am most interested in seeing more OVA stories.

I am interested, BTW, in knowing what the opinion is on this list about
Manatsu no Eve's (Tenchi the Movie 2) timeline.  It seemed to me that this
movie took place in the OVA timeline some years in the future.  But I can kind
of see how it might be Tenchi Universe...  Anyway, I would be interested in
your opinions.

I have been a fan of the Tenchi series for a long time, but I never knew about
this list.  Its nice to see so many Tenchi fans discussing things like this!
