Really?  Did you think that Eva's ending was crappy?  Perhaps, most people
do (I think) hate the 2 endings to Eva.  IMO the TV ending is ok, but kinda
leaves the story hanging there.  I'm one of the rare people who thinks that
the messed up EoE is a good ending for the series.

I mean, how do you expect Eva to end?  Everybody's happy and gets
everything and they live happily ever after?  No!  That's not going to
happen and this has been hinted at ever since episode 18 or so.  Right from
the beginning Eva was doomed . . .  Funny, I just finished watching the
last 2 episodes and the though of Eva with a happy ending leaves me feeling
funny.
