As a side note, I haven't had much chance to listen to the original Japanese
voices, so my comments are solely based on what I've heard in the dubs

>
>Tenchi - Kill that guy

A bit too whiny...too bad Kermit Miller can't balance the voice more towards
the one he uses for Yosho

>Ryoko - A really natural voice once gotten used to

Didn't take me much effort to get used to, and I really enjoy the acting work!

>Aeka - Have to turn volume to max to heat her talk, sounds like my grandma.

True, she is way more than a bit high-pitched and annoying. A few times,
you'll get a decent voice out of her, but only a few.

>Sasami - Cool, it's the usual American kid voice

This one works quite well. I know I've seen the name of the actress (Katie
Ashley) in the credits of some sitcom or another. At any rate, she sounds
appropriately like a kid, not like an adult trying to sound like a kid.

>Mihoshi - Voice is okay, dubbing/acting needs help

If you mean lip-syncing needs help, I don't think it's so much her fault.
There were some portions where no amount of lip-synching attempts would have
helped due to the mouth remaining closed.

As for the acting, I think it's good for the most part...needs a little
work, but isn't too bad.

>Washuu - Sounds like she's from the south. Only if that accent is gone...

South?? I don't think so. I've got some deep roots in the south/southwest,
and I don't think I've heard any southern belle sound like that! :-) For
me, the accent, whatever it is, works well. Especially when she was playing
nurse...

>Tsunami - Love this one, it not only sounds like Chisa's voice, but...

I have had no arguments about this voice, except "who did it???" I
seriously wish they would have given her screen credits! Of course, I
haven't seen ep. 9 yet, so I hope that she gets credit starting with that
episode.

>Kagato - Like most of us, I like this voice better

I *loved* this voice! Weston Peese gave Kagato a truly evil
voice...well-mannered (to hide the evil beneath) to the very end.

>Yosho - Usual male voice, but why can't Tenchi have one???

Especially when you consider that Kermit Miller did both Tenchi and Yosho...

Gee...if I only had the budget for an LD player :-)

My favorites would be Kagato, Ryoko, Tsunami, and Sasami.

Would have been one hell of a plot giveaway! :-)

>	Cabbit's voice sounds too much like a cat.

One has to wonder if Cabbit is the real name of this voice actress, since
Ryo-ohki is referred to as a "cabbit" (half-cat half-rabbit). At any rate,
I can understand (to some extent) the emphasis on sounding like a
cat...after all, what does a rabbit sound like? :-)
