I dunno if better version means more extras. Lets compare. Unless you're
getting special LD box sets, the LD packages may have better art, but it's
also flimsy and hard to store. Most of the time when storing them, you
hardly see the art at all. Inserts and Omake are cool if you're into that
stuff. I like it too, but it's not priority to me. But here's this for an
extra, does your Manatsu no Eve LDs have a Tenchi Muyo Encyclopedia with
info on everything up to that point, video clips and more? Nice extra eh?
^_^

Tenchi Muyo Manatsu No Eve, Armitage the 3rd, Ghost in The Shell, Night
Warriors, and more that I can't remember off the top of my head. Note Night
Warriors is a OAV release. All have at least one 5.1 track. The Tenchi
Movies and Ghost in the Shell and some others have both english and jap 5.1
I believe.

I wouldn't say that too soon.

I'm not saying it'll save the world. In the original reply, I made example
and reasons for him to get a DVD player. DVD may be marginally better, but
the fact is, it's better and it's more accepted. 1999 will be a huge year
for DVD and you will start to see more and more titles. If you like LD,
stick with it, more power to ya. I'm just sticking to the format I chose.
That's all, no biggie.
