I agree. If he fell in love and even married Funaho, he can't be much of
a racist. To me it seems more like a typical case of jealousy of somone
who's more important to his daughter than he is.

Of course, he'll probably try to make Tenchi's life difficult, but I
don't believe he'd go too far.
