Well, OAVs are expensively produced so of course they want more money for
them than for a TV series. And except for Pioneer, most publishers even
put only 2 TV episodes per tape!

Besides, there isn't really anything to complain about with El Hazard.
After all, that first episode is almost twice as long as the others!
