Well, like it or not, there also IS the issue of censorship. At least
in the past, a dub would often be toned down a bit in critical places
(sex, profanity, etc..) because dubs are more for the mainstream market.
A good example is the "sample extraction" in OAV 7.

Nowadays, that seems to happen less often.
