Hmm... The Lighthawk sword. So far we have seen Tenchi's materialization of
simply a sword, not a full wing, as a flaw, possibly meaning he lost power,
or he never had the power to begin with. I think that this is totally wrong.
In "Here Comes Jurai 2" D3 says:
"That sword is capable of material conversion, yet it only has three
blades?" reffering to a very interesting portrayal of (who I think is)
Tenchi. (it's 'interesting' because it shows him dressed oddly and with 5
LHW's.)
Maybe the Lighhawk sword is actually the source of Tenchi's wings. Perhaps,
during the time that elapsed between OAV #13 and DoD, Tenchi realized the
true nature of his powers and THAT'S why he can now summon the sword at
will.
Of course, this is all wild speculation, but it may spark some neat-o
discussions.
