Actually, they're a very creative way to put down a story. MSTs can be 
just as hard to write as actual fanfics sometimes.

Also (though this obviously isn't the case with what Don is doing), having 
one's story MSTed is not *necessarily* a bad thing. On the Fan Fiction ML, 
many authors *beg* to have their stories receive such treatement.
