Hey, that'll work... but he won't do it.  For all of us who qualify as
Tenchi fans (If you signed up for the ML, you more than qualify), it would
probably be a great scene watching Tenchi actually grow some spine.  But for
all of the folks out there who are either once-in-a-while Tenchi watchers or
non-watches, the series would probably lose them then, as they would be
expecting more of the innuendo-filled slapstick we've all come to know and
love.
Also, I'm beginning to consider Tenchi an idiot savant.  The points made in
the quoted message do make Tenchi seem a little... dense.  He does fit the
type, I'd say.  A total idiot in personal relations with others.  If it
wasn't for Ryoko's stubbornness, Mihoshi's blind faith, and Ayeka's
endurance, all three would have left the planet by now, discouraged.  The
savant part?  Well, LHW qualify...
