	Somehow I doubt that many people died from confetti.  True, there are
hundreds of pounds of confetti that is dropped in Times Square but not
all at once and not all on 47 isolated people.  The number is just too
large.

	In other words, 1997 has been the best year for me in a long time. I
acquired my entire anime collection in '97, I acquired 2 computers, a
large following of friends due to a new interest in active involvement,
and I wrote several fanfics I am very proud of.  I only hope that '98
can be just as good if not better!
