Actually, I thought the whole video/film portion of AnimeExpo went superbly.
The only thing noticeable to the outside world was a moderate amount of
tardiness on the part of programming - par for the course for ANY
convention. What was above average was the fact nothing was scrubbed.
Rumors do run rampant in a vaccum...my understanding was that there was to
be two screenings of the same version - period.

Glad to hear I was wrong.

You got that right. Pre-order this one. Now.

I think for the movie, they worked the cast a bit harder. It showed.

And my attitude sucked?  ^_^;

And a fine man you were, Gunga Din.

Nobody worked harder than you. Nobody as visible to the attendees.

Long, curly red hair. Yeah, I remember you. You were the guy with the
invisible "kick me" sign on his back. You took a lot more abuse than I
would have tolerated, with a heck of a lot more grace. 90 lashes with a wet
noodle to me...where do I send the cold sake and the 3 lb. box of See's?
You'd probably settle for a decent meal right now.

Brian was also the guy who had to take the heat when the video contest tapes
weren't QUITE ready to be shown Saturday night. Really, the video portion
of the Expo was above average - even excellent. No offense meant to Expo
staff - really. By the time Sunday rolled around, Brian was toast -- but
kept doing the Energizer bunny thing. Thanks, Brian. See you next year!
