:Well I finally made it on this list.. *sigh of relief*... I tried

Welcome aboard!
:3)Thought that they should have put In Love in theaters like Ghost
:in the Shell(In the US), and should put Mid Summer's Christmas Eve
:in theaters as soon as they translate/dub..
I don't think it will do particularly well if Pioneer tried to
do this. Tenchi Muyo may be popular among anime fandom, but
anime itself is relatively unknown to the masses besides the
usual icons of Speed Racer and Akira. To appreciate TMiL or
TM:ME requires that the audience are anime fans who are already
familiar with the 1st TV series or the OVA series. However,
GitS is a film that can and does stand alone; it only requires
that the audience is receptive towards some themes in science
fiction. Therefore, the potential audience reach for GitS is
*far* greater than anything Tenchi Muyo; alternatively, the
former can be viewed as a superset of the latter.
:4)I like the dubbed versions, but perfer the music to be in the
:original Japanese.
Ummm... the music is the same for both Japanese and US releases,
referring to TMiL and GitS (TM:ME doesn't count yet). If you
are thinking of the English song at the end of TMiL, you can get
the Japanese version from a CD-Single, or one of the other CDs
from Pioneer (it's not the TMiL soundtrack).
:5)Favorite character is: All - What makes that show great is the
:wonderful combination of personalities that blend perfectly.
Here's some questions: what do you think of the interplay of the
different personalities, compared between the OVA series and the
TV series? Do you think both are equal, just good in their own
unique ways? Or was one better than the other? Were some
character combinations trivialized while others became pivotal
to the series?
