This may not be the place for it, but I did
want to say this somewhere --

THANK YOU, HITOSHI DOI!

The reason is this. The American series of
Sailor Moon stopped halfway through the second
Japanese season ("Sailor Moon R"). My itch to
find out what happened next became too intense
to resist scratching, and I ended up buying a
whole bunch of Japanese laserdiscs, well into
third season "Sailor Moon S." Since these are
cartoons aimed at a juvenile audience and not
rocket science, they weren't in general
too hard to figure out even knowing next to
no Japanese. Still, I was missing a lot of the
subtleties. Then I discovered Hitoshi's web
site with detailed episode-by-episode plot
summaries. Questions were answered, mysteries
were solved! The massive investment in all those
import-priced laserdiscs was justified now that
I finally knew what was going on! Arrigato,
Hitoshi-san! Thanks to you, all that money wasn't
a waste!
