The moral question of Ryoko's boasted piracy comes up from time to
time. I thought I would have my say.
        Imagine being Ryoko.  What has your life been?  How do you feel
about yourself?  What do you tell others?
        It salves her ego and dignity to say "I am a notorious Space Pirate"
You have heard of the "Unvarnished Truth", that is the varnished truth.
        Here is the Unvarnished truth, "I spent the first 1300 years of my
life as Kagato's slave and dupe".
        We varnish the truth all the time.
