I hope that Tenchi succeeds on PBS, but as I have argued its going to have a
very bumpy road. PBS is a station which is associated with children's
programming and if someone were to be unaware of anything about Tenchi Muyo
except that it was animated they would use the fact that it was on PBS to back
up their claims that it was a series for children. 

If PBS puts the series on at 7pm or later, that may work toward dispelling that
myth, but I know this, if I heard about an animated series and someone told me
it was on PBS and I didn't know anything about it, my first impression would be
"Yuck! It must be one of those cutesy cartoons they put on for babies."
