Gentlemen while we all have deep beliefs in our characters of this series we
must when looking at how the characters act remeber that they must act in a
certain way even contrary to how we would think in order to follow a set plot.
We all know that perhaps Tenchi has the most "human" common sense of this group
but If that sence were always to show out such as being able to always be able
to see through trick by Zero or more often Washu (ALWAYS getting tied up in her
lab) then the series would certainly be much more mundane with a hero who always
saw what is coming.  In short if Tenchi wasn't fooled once in a while then we
would have a stiff main character who might have resolved most of the problems
he now faces.
