It appears that Aeka knew the truth earlier as well, listening to
her comments with Washuu afterwards; but she otherwise played a
small role in the scheme of things, and only seemed to serve as a
comedic backup (Mihoshi was less relevant, and no Sasami at all!).
Sigh.
