In my opinion (and also my friends' opinions), we all prefer El 
Hazard character designs to Tenchi's. <shrug>

I agree here. I asked two of my friends this question: If you go to
video rental shop and find a new Tenchi and a new El Hazard tapes on
the shelf, and you can rent one tape only, which one will you
choose? They both (including me) will choose El Hazard. Of course 
I'll come back for the Tenchi the next day.  ^_^

Well, sorry if I offend anybody here, it is just my 2 cents though.
Believe me, I'm still Tenchi fan.  ^_^
