Depends entirely on the encoding rate and whether it's mono, joint stereo,
or stereo.
But why bother with MPEG 1 layer III, when layer II is just as good?
(I checked with blind listening tests with volunteers, they could not tell
a difference above 96kbit/sec, and below that the difference was so
slight, it was not considered worth the effort to encode layer III.)
