This should probably go into a FAQ or something.  ^_^;

The story goes....

Way back when, when Tenchi Muyo first came to Pioneer LDCA(note the
'A') for dubbing into English, they rounded up the voice actors
and actress that we all know and love in the English version.  ^_^;
The only problem was none of them had permission from the Voice
Actor/Actress Guild to do the dub.  Since Pioneer LDCA was on a tight
schedual for the relase of the 1st OAV series dub, they hired the
actors and actress and asked them to work knowing that they could
be fined by the Voice Actor/Actress Guild.  To lessen the chance
of the voice talent getting "caught", they used psuedonyms in the 
credits.

As history tells, the Tenchi Muyo dub is one of the best
selling series ever to hit North America!  They made so
much money off of Tenchi that Pioner LDCA payed up to the VA 
Guild and switched to their real names for later releases.
