I long for the bygone age, when Pioneer had the best of everything in the US market,
even with their higher pricing.  That changed around the time they released the special
DVD box sets for Fushigi Yugi... I had to send THREE different box sets back
due to manufacturing issues... The first OVA had to go back THREE times before I got
a good one, as well.

Well, here's the good news... if the Funi re-release ends up sucking big time, you
can always beg a copy off of us old-timers who got the sets, back when. I even have
the PS OVA, Japanese DVD, and the Song File.

And if Funi is going to release Tench again, they really have to clean it up, remaster
it, and fix all the left-over translation errors.
It would be nice to see a quality improvement equivalent to the recent El-Hazard:
Wanderers remaster.
