I thought I'd seen mp4s of some of the more recent fansubs.  Things get a b
it confusing due to the way that the fansubs have been handled for that ser
ies, although at the moment I think there are two different groups working 
on it independently of each other.

Mind you, iirc both of those groups have skipped at least one or two episod
es along the way as they both started quite late...


The last fan-subbed episode at the moment is either #10 or #11, due to the 
fact that the fan-subs generally use the Blu-Ray version (which looks bette
r and often has an extra bit or two in it) instead of the broadcast version
.


As for potential fansubbers, I doubt we're going to see anything new from A
nimeigo in the anime department ever again.  They've still got old licenses
 that they're selling product for, but it looks as if they only thing new t
hey've licensed for the last several years (since Macross, really) is live-
action samurai flicks.
