Based on some of the info we got. limited though it is, it's beginning to look more
like an alternate book/media series or promotional special.  Since they are still
writing GXP novels, it would not surprise me in the least to have them license a
special GXP project or story. 

Maybe one of us will be able to find a scan of the magazine, as they periodically
pop up on torrent sites.
