Not really that.  The writers can, of course, do whatever they want.  And rearranging
certain early plot elements from the manga in order to incorporate story elements
added later in the manga in a more logical fashion (such as showing the angels much

earlier on - Holy Bell appears in episode 2 or 3 - as well as adding one of the Valkryies
- Lind - to the Lord of Terror story arc in order to emphasize that yes, Heaven is
concerned about this) makes sense.  It's just the way that they present the
silohuette doesn't make it look like "the next big threat". 

As I mentioned earlier, a plotting Mara (Marlier in the series) would be perfect for
that particular image.  But that's clearly not Mara's wavy hair.

Presumeably you're correct in that it's supposed to represent something that shows
up in the second season.  It just doesn't come across to me that way.
