IMO, if you are not a die-hard, get everything fan, you need to rent or
preview the series, first.

I found a few things in #3 enjoyable, but found many things pretty
excruciating.  I am glad (and confirmed) that the Tokimi and Zero bits
are over, but now we have a couple "harem" "additions," and a MASSIVE
Kagato teaser that was presented in a very bizarre way.

Personally Kajishima's treatment of several of the characters as
established in the first OVA, has been a prime bitch for me, and it
seems to continue.
