Understood, I might have to give it a look then. Seemed interesting, but
just wanted some feedback on it.

Yup, in the US it still has 20+ (Some clustered together to make larger
servers.) servers running and then it has many more servers in Korea,
Japan, and Europe. I think the customer base is around 125k-150k active
accounts last I knew. I'm playing it because I've done everything in
World of Warcraft and have grown tired of WoW's garbage PvP ranking
system. DAoC still has the best PvP (RvR) available in an MMORPG.
Although, I am waiting now for when Warhammer: Age of Reckoning goes
into beta and eventually retail. It's going to be the next big
PvP-centric MMORPG. Odd thing at the moment in the MMORPG world is that
recently EA purchased Mythic so we'll see how that impacts the future of
DAoC, UO, and Warhammer given some time. I hate EA, but I am gonna give
them the benefit of the doubt that it's a good thing for Mythic.

Oh yeah, industry rumors are cropping up that Blizzard is working on a
Diablo and a Starcraft based MMORPG seperately. Starcraft MMORPG if it
comes to fruition would be massive. Especially in Asia where multiple
millions still play it daily.

Enough rambling. Good to hear from you man.
