I don't know where his comments on it can be found.  My remembrance of the comments
is that Kajishima didn't particularly like Eva.  According to Kajishima, Dual! parodies
Eva, but also incorporates a lot of what Kajishima would have done had he made
Eva.  But even though Dual! parodies Eva, it still manages to do so in a mostly respectful
manner.  Even when it turns specific plots from Eva into silly situations (such as
the 'female suit'), it does it without tearing down its source.

Unfortunately, Eva's all-but-divine status with some of its more rabid fans means
that too many people are unable to step back and appreciate Dual! as an intelligent
way of poking fun.
