For anyone interested in Utena, AnimeStudios just
released the whole series in the UK. There's two parts
to the collection and the whole series is contained on
six discs. The discs are region free. I just got the
whole series imported from the UK for $51. I about
creamed myself when I saw this.
In the US, one is expected to pay some $300 for the
whole Utena series. I had the Software Sculptors
release of the Rose Collection and the movie. However,
nowadays I can't see myself spending $120 for 13
episodes. I know the arc collections went down to like
$60, but why would anyone release a 39 episode series
on some 10 discs when the first two contained 10
episodes? LOL Didn't DNA^2 have a 5-disc domestic
release?

Anyways, I just want to pass on the info that you can
get Utena official now without having to sell your
