I agree with Junior and Nik on this. I think the whole Misaki thing was
poorly handled. Some people use the incident between Misaki and Ryoko as
alluding to there was something out of the ordinary about the queen's
strength, but I don't feel that's the case. Yosho stopped one of Ryoko's
punches in the first OAV with absolutely no effort what so ever on his part.
His hand didn't flinch an inch. Heck, Airi handles Ryoko quite effectively
in the new OAV... Are they high dimensional life forms too? I don't think
Ryoko is a good measuring stick on this point.

And at least in my case, I think the matter is made worse in that I feel
episodes four and five were for the large part wasted on exposition of
characters we just met and are unlikely to see again in anything more than a
cameo appearance. Miashu and Misau?? Who cares... Should have been GXP
episodes.

They could have alluded to the fact that Misaki was special merely by
showing Z absconding with her from Jurai earlier in the 3rd OAV. We would
know something was up with her then. 

I believe what it boils down to is this... The third OAV series isn't meant
for general consumption either in Japan or the West, but instead was a thank
you for the truly hard core Tenchi fan. What this means for the chances of a
4th OAV? I don't know.

I will say this though; the last episode went a long way in improving my
overall opinion of the third OAV series.
