You can try using
http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/jwb/wwwjdic?9T
At least with some names, it will give the name in romaji as well as in
kana. If what you've entered isn't recognized as a name (as is the case
with, say, 天地) you'll get an English translation plus a reading in
kana. Kana are easy enough to convert to romaji - I'm pretty sure you
can find instructions or an applet to do that.
