     Actually, it is never stated in the OVAs that Ryouko can
creat LHWs.  That was clearly a liberally 'translated' line. 
Instead, in the original Japanese, Funaho basically states that
the jewels, like Tenchi, can probably create LHWs.

     That sounds dead on.  Really, if you can convert energy to
matter and matter to energy without entropic loss, what *can't*
you do?
