     Funaho-no-ki's hologram doesn't show Aeka.  Aeka's dream
doesn't really give us anything really concrete to work with as it
is just a dream.  (Aeka's dreams aren't particularly reliable for
much, as they are mostly abstract and symbolic.)  Other the other
hand, Sasami's death scene is a far better indicator of the
passage of time as the information was provided by Tsunami. 
(Sasami is clearly about four.)  Thus, the five year gap is not
really surprising and does not conflict with what can be gleaned
from the OVA series.  Having Aeka at fourteen makes perfect sense
and explains why she is not physically mature.  (Women generally
reach full bone growth at around twenty-five years of age.)
