Airi had two children from Yosho, each spread out over several centuries. 
The first was Mizuho and I believe she was born at the Academy, the second 
was Kiyone, Tenchi's mother. I don't know if Kiyone was born on Earth or 
not, but it is also obvious that Azusa, Funaho or Misuki are happy about 
Airi being Yosho's wife, it is very possible only Seto's approval of Airi 
has kept their dislike for her at a low level.
