What I was refering to was their elections for Senate and stuff.  In this election,
the top three candidates were two Democrats and one Republican.  The law requires
someone get over 50%, so they almost always have a runoff election between the
top-two candidates.  It was surprising that the Republican got 51% of the vote in
the Senate race there.
