While he opposed Gay Marriages he was open to allowing Gay Partners
have the same legal rights as traditional married couples. Think of it in
the
sense of 'Power of Attorney'. Married couples have the right that if their
spouse becomes unable to handle their financial or health concerns they
can make those necessary decisions. That is what many gay couples were
asking for. I personally feel that the PoA rights should be in place for all
couples whether gay or straight. My strong belief is that no couple should
get special tax breaks and such for being married. You get married as a
committment for yourself. You shouldn't be rewarded for that and exclude
people who are going through the exact same emotions and bonds because
they happen to be male/male or female/female. It's idiocy.

Yes, Bush has been the only person to allow limited funding for stem cell
research.
That is because the whole time Clinton was in office the Republicans
staunchly
denied any possibility of it. Congress completely blocked federal funding I
think
since around 1996 or so. Then Bush came in added a little federal funding
and shut
down most of the needed resource materials for study.

Yes, but many times he has said that he will do everything he can to
make Abortion illegal again. I find it very uncomfortable that he places
more emphasis on the life of an unborn child than he does on a living
productive human being.

Why is it a Sham? Have you been in a cave since 9/11/2001?
Ok, we get attacked by terrorists due to our associations with Isreal.
This is an attack that Bush and other government officials were warned
about roughly a month beforehand. American cries for blood and the
"War on Terrorism!" is born. Another mock war in the same vein as
Nancy Reagan's "War on Drugs!" which cannot be won, but is done
to satiate the teaming masses of morons. Through our intelligence and
other intelligence agencies around the world we ascertain that Osama
Bin Laden, the Taliban, and the Al Qeada terrorist network were behind
the attacks.

Now we march on Afghanistan to free it's people from the tyranny of the
Taliban and to fight terrorist wherever they are. Awhile later we supposedly
cornered Osama in Torabora, but our army wasn't strong enough to capture
or kills a band of cave dwellers. The world starts questioning what we are
actually doing and we need something to draw their attention away. BAM!
Saddam Hussein is *LINKED* to Al Qeada and must have helped with
the attacks on NY. We knew that about 14 years ago he had WMD's so
now we have enough reason to invade and conquer Iraq no matter what those
ignorant fools at the UN think. No matter if our allies think we're
retarded.
We have the combined forces of Poland, England, *AND* GUAM! The
oil will be ours and Haliburton gets a nobid on the wells. Woot! Oh wait,
most
of that isn't quite right.

Fast forward to present day. Iraq is th most unstable it's ever been. The US
has worked to secure contracts for many British and American companies to
control the Iraqi resources. The government is being created by the US
handpicking those they feel should be in power. We've asked our former
allies
to assist finally in securing Iraq and I applaud them for telling Bush to
"Fuck
Off!" and clean up his mess. We have soldiers dying every day because the
only plan Bush and his cronies had was to attack strategic points within
the Iraqi infrastructure and not secure it's borders, deal with uprisings,
or to
utilize the Iraqi citizens to build up their own country.

Removing Saddam from power is in no way a bad thing, but it should have
been done back in the early 90's when there was just cause. Bush only went
into Iraq to gain a foothold in the middle eastern oil reserves and to
finish
what his father couldn't. Our troops are suppose to be used for securing
the safety of our great nation and not as some jackboot thugs so some
maverick texan can get over his illconceived desire for venegance and greed.
If you don't think that Iraq is a farce and an economical/political
disaster,
then give me a call because I've got a few bridges I'd liek to sell you.

<snippage of america being retarded again>
